În clasamentul pe medalii, primul loc a fost ocupat de China cu 165 medalii de aur, 88 de argint şi 63 de bronz, urmată de Coreea de Sud 58-53-82 si Japonia 50-71-77
În ultima zi a competiţiei, în finala turneului de fotbal, echipa Qatarului a întrecut cu scorul de 1-0 selecţionata Irakului.
Alte rezultate din finalele la sporturi de echipă: Baschet feminin: China – Taiwan 90-59; Hochei pe iarbă masculin: Coreea de Sud – China 3-1; Handbal masculin: Kuweit-Qatar 27-24; Volei masculin: Coreea de Sud – China 3-1.
O tranzacție importantă se pregătește pe piața media din România. Grupul Clever a semnat un acord pentru preluarea integrală a Doğan Media International, compania care deține Kanal D, a anunțat luni Orlando Nicoară, directorul Clever EAD, grupul care deține și site-ul Cotidianul.ro.
Nouă sportivi de la Maxim Fighting Oradea, cu vârste cuprinse între 7 și 17 ani, au participat la competiția Cezar Pro Fight, desfășurată la Alba Iulia.
Un accident rutier în care a fost implicat un pieton s-a produs luni după-amiază, în centrul Oradiei, la ieșirea de sub pasajul din Centrul Civic, în apropierea Podului Dacia.
Proiectul de hotărâre, elaborat împreună cu Ministerul Energiei, a fost publicat în transparență decizională și vizează prelungirea situației de criză pe piața țițeiului și a produselor petroliere.
Localitatea Betfia, comuna Sânmartin, a găzduit în zilele de 24 și 25 octombrie Campionatul Național de Cros și Ștafetă Mixtă, una dintre competițiile importante din calendarul atletismului românesc.
